ELATT is a learning community – made up of a dynamic group of people. From tutors and partners, to students, volunteers and supporters, we are constantly evolving so we can improve the lives of others. Our community is supportive, diverse, and welcoming. So, why take up the loan with us?
The Student Loans Company fund the Advanced Learning Loans. Loans are not means tested or subject to credit checks. You can apply whether you are in employment or receiving Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or Employment Support Allowance (ESA). What's more, you won’t have to pay anything back until you’re earning over £25,000 a year.
Our learners are ambitious, motivated and determined. As a result of achieving their qualification students have secured jobs such as web design assistant, junior developer, IT support assistant, digital content assistant and office support coordinator.
The loan is paid directly to ELATT. We can help you with your application and answer any questions you may have about applying.

As part of this opportunity, you will also benefit from the following:
You’ll start repaying your loan in the April after you complete or leave your course. HM Revenue and Customs collect loan repayments from employers through the UK tax system.
You can make voluntary repayments at any time in order to pay off your loans more quickly. You’ll only start making repayments when your income is over £25,000 a year. However, if your income falls below £25,000, repayments will stop and only re-start when your income is over £25,000.
If you’re employed, your employer will take your repayments directly from your salary. If you’re self-employed, you’ll make repayments as part of your annual self-assessment tax return. If you move/work overseas you will repay 9% of your earnings over the repayment threshold for the country you are living in.
