More Information

ELATT is a member of Careers Collaborative, a Hackney-based organisation that makes sure we keep up to date with Labour Market Information (LMI) so that we know we are teaching you the skills that employers need.

Through Careers Collaborative we have access to weekly newsletters telling us about all Apprenticeships, Supported Internships and support for young people with Special Education Needs in the east London area. Through this you can be sure that you’ll know about all the options available to you.

National Careers Service

The National Careers Service provides high quality, free and impartial careers advice, information and guidance. Their service is available to anyone aged 13+ no matter what stage of the careers journey you’re at.

How it works

1. Join a workshop

Check the weekly timetable from your tutor and join via Zoom.

2. Book a one-to-one

Complete the employability form to be allocated to an adviser; we’ll meet you on Zoom and get you job-search ready.

3. Practise & apply

We’ll support applications and interview practise. When you get an offer, tell us so we can celebrate and report outcomes that fund the service.

This is available for all ELATT students (Adults and Sixth Form), at any stage of their career journey.

Visit ELATT and tell our students about your offer!

ELATT is committed to showcasing apprenticeships and technical education qualifications through our partnerships.  We run a number of events through the academic year to support students to decide on their next steps. If you would like to speak to our students about your apprenticeship and technical education offer, please fill in the form below:

Provider Access Statement
This statement sets out our arrangements for managing the access of providers to ELATT students for the purpose of giving them information about providers’ education or training offer. This complies with the school’s legal obligations under Section 42B of the Education Act 1997. All students at ELATT are entitled:

  • to find out about technical education qualifications and apprenticeships opportunities as part of a careers programme which provides information on the full range of education and training options available at each transition point;
  • to hear from a range of local providers about opportunities they offer, including technical education and apprenticeships, through options events, workshops, group discussions and taster events;
  • to understand how to make applications for the full range of academic and technical courses.
