About this Project

Refugee Community Makers is a project involving refugees who will use skills developed on the programme to become active members of the local community in East and West London. As part of this programme participants will practice their English skills as well as taking part in local activities such as running workshops, campaigns, volunteering and delivering community lunches.

ELATT recognises that refugees bring with them a range of skills, experiences and an enthusiasm to use them to become fully involved in their new community.

This project is for adult refugees and their families living in or near to one of these boroughs: Ealing, Brent, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets. The project will be delivered at ELATT’s established community venues. This programme includes:
