Celebrating ELATT’s Outstanding Areas: Latest Ofsted Inspection Report

The inspection report awarded us Outstanding in several critical areas, reflecting our commitment to delivering top-notch education and support to our learners. Here are some of the standout achievements:

• Behaviour and Attitudes: Outstanding
  Ofsted praised the behaviour and attitudes of our students, observing that “They are highly respectful of each other’s differences, show tolerance and patience, and enjoy their studies.” This positive environment is echoed by our adult learners, who “recognise how their studies and the support they get from teachers has improved their confidence, resilience, and lives.” This recognition underscores the positive, inclusive environment we foster at ELATT, where every learner feels valued and supported.
  
  
• Personal Development: Outstanding
  Our personal development programmes continue to be a cornerstone of our success. Through initiatives like student-led clubs, we empower young students to take ownership of their learning and contribute meaningfully to the ELATT community. For our adult learners, who benefit from a diverse range of learning opportunities, Ofsted noted that “learners have a good choice of options to study in a range of community learning centres and online.” These tailored programmes not only enhance professional skills but also support personal growth, ensuring that our learners thrive both in and out of the classroom.
  
  
• Adult Learning Programmes: Outstanding
  The report also celebrated our adult learning programmes, recognising the breadth and accessibility of our offerings. ELATT’s provision ensures that every learner in London can find a programme that meets their needs, whether it’s ESOL courses, digital skills, or creative vocational training. Ofsted highlighted that “students and learners study a good range of digital and creative vocational courses, where they learn the skills that local employers need.”
