At ELATT we understand that events can take place in your life that makes it difficult to focus, concentrate or even continue on your studies with us. Our aim is to help you overcome these issues in your life so that you can stay on course, improve your skills and flourish in life and work.
We do this through our Wrap-around Student Support programme. We aim to support the ‘whole person’, which means the wider needs in your life beyond your learning and skills needs:
Childcare provision
on-site (creches) or off-site (childminders)
Travel bursaries
covering your travel costs to college
Wellbeing service
supporting you with resilience, mindfulness and mental health. The Wellbeing Service offers both group workshops and 1:1 sessions to help you manage stress, improve your physical and mental health, and enhance your overall wellbeing. Read More

for online learners
Emergency hardship grants
for those in urgent financial difficulty
Signposting
to specialist external agencies within our network of community partners
We also promote peer and community support through our Equal Voices programme

Access free, independent careers advice and guidance at ELATT through our careers partner, Prospects. Prospects provide us with a Level 7 qualified Career Development Institute (CDI) adviser to run one-to-one Careers Discussions.
Your sessions will be independent, ensuring that you know all your options for future learning and career progression.
Sessions usually last 45 minutes, and you can arrange follow up sessions if you need
Sixth Form Students
This service is delivered to all Sixth Form students in their final year at ELATT, and any Sixth Form student can request CIAG at any point in their journey at ELATT.
Adults (19+) Students
This service will be offered to all adult students at their expected final level of study at ELATT.
ELATT is a member of Careers Collaborative, a Hackney-based organisation that makes sure we keep up to date with Labour Market Information (LMI) so that we know we are teaching you the skills that employers need.
Through Careers Collaborative we have access to weekly newsletters telling us about all Apprenticeships, Supported Internships and support for young people with Special Education Needs in the east London area. Through this you can be sure that you’ll know about all the options available to you.
The National Careers Service provides high quality, free and impartial careers advice, information and guidance. Their service is available to anyone aged 13+ no matter what stage of the careers journey you’re at.
