Anthony Harmer, our Chief Executive joins techUK

In July Anthony our Chief Executive was elected as a Director of techUK.

techUK is the voice of the UK tech industry, representing the companies and technologies that are defining today and the world that we will live in tomorrow. techUK is committed to helping its members grow by developing markets, building relationships and networks and reducing business costs and risks.

 

Anthony is thrilled to join the board of such a prestigious organisation and to work with fellow directors from leading international companies such as Salesforce, Mastercard and long-time ELATT supporter Informed Solutions, where he aims to pass on his knowledge garnered from 15 years in the digital skills training sector.  

Anthony said, 'In the light of a digital skills crisis and the threat of a hard Brexit, it is more vital than ever that we establish robust strategies to help young people and adults up-skill and re-skill in order to participate fully in tech growth across the UK.  To do that, we need to look beyond the traditional recruitment routes and find the diversity and talent already latent in our communities. I am really looking forward to contributing to the already excellent work of such an experienced and knowledgeable team at techUK.'
