Imagine a place where your dreams can take flight, where your potential is unlocked, and where your future is transformed. That place is ELATT.
ELATT is more than just a place to learn; it’s a launchpad for individuals seeking to transform their lives through education and support. In today’s competitive job market, acquiring the right skills and knowledge is essential for success, and ELATT empowers learners to do just that.
But don’t just take our word for it – let’s hear from some of our amazing students and graduates who have achieved incredible things during and after completing their ELATT courses.
Dr. Brahim El Boudani’s story is a testament to the power of education and determination. Having limited knowledge of IT in 2013, he walked through the doors of ELATT with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to grow. In just one year, he gained two diplomas and a wealth of practical skills, helped by ELATT’s supportive environment and dedicated staff.
“It wasn’t just about tech books or coursework,” Dr. El Boudani recalls. “It was the mentorship, the support, the encouragement from the incredible staff there at ELATT that helped me believe in my potential. They saw something in me that I hadn’t yet seen in myself, and that support made all the difference.”
Equipped with the skills he gained at ELATT, Dr. El Boudani secured a placement with Camara Education, an organisation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children in Africa with technology. This experience ignited his passion for using technology for positive change.
Dr. El Boudani’s journey didn’t stop there. He pursued a BSc in Information Technology at London’s Southbank University, working on projects with local government authorities to make communities more connected and efficient.
His unwavering commitment to learning led him to pursue a doctorate in artificial intelligence, focusing on AI applications for the fifth generation of networks. Today, Dr. El Boudani is a lecturer in artificial intelligence and computer science, transforming the way we communicate and understand the world.
He attributes much of his success to the solid foundation he built at ELATT, emphasizing that “ELATT is more than an institute. It’s a launching pad. And no matter where you come from or where you’re headed. Remember that your journey at ELATT can be the start of something extraordinary. Just believe in yourself, trust in the support around you, and use this time to lay the foundation for your future.”
Lucilia, a dance teacher from Mozambique, came to ELATT seeking to improve her English skills. She found a supportive community that helped her overcome her fear of public speaking and gain the confidence to pursue her dreams. Through ELATT’s courses, she achieved her goal of becoming a dance instructor in London.
“When I first came to ELATT, I didn’t know any English,” Lucilia shares. “I started with the Entry 1 ESOL course, and ELATT helped me build the skills and confidence I needed to succeed. I used to be afraid to speak in front of others, which held me back from pursuing my passion for dance. But thanks to ELATT, I’m now a confident dance instructor! ELATT gave me the opportunity to grow, find myself, and find a job.”
Hamza joined ELATT to study ICT and computer engineering. Initially quiet and reserved, he blossomed at ELATT, gaining confidence and communication skills with the support of teachers and teaching assistants. He is now pursuing his dream of becoming a computer engineer at university level.
“I wasn’t a talkative person before joining ELATT, but they helped me gain the self-knowledge and confidence to ask questions and talk to people,” Hamza says. “They also helped me to achieve my goals and get a higher degree.”
Yonida’s journey is another inspiring example of how ELATT helps individuals achieve their career goals. After completing an ESOL course and the Teaching Assistant Level 2 course at ELATT she started volunteering at Baby Bank and gained practical experience. This experience, coupled with the skills and knowledge gained at ELATT, helped her secure a job as a teaching assistant at Walthamstow Montessori School.
Yonida expressed her gratitude to ELATT, saying, “I’m so grateful to ELATT and the people who were present during my journey. Thank you for everything.”
