At ELATT, we believe that digital skills are the key to unlocking a future full of opportunities. With the tech industry constantly evolving, there’s never been a better time to pursue a career in programming and development. Our Full Stack Pathway is designed to guide you step by step—from mastering the basics to becoming a fully-fledged full-stack developer. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your digital skills, ELATT’s pathway has something to offer.
Our programmes are accredited by renowned awarding bodies such as Gateway Qualifications and City & Guilds. This ensures that you’ll receive industry-recognised qualifications, boosting your credibility and employability. At the final stage of the pathway, the Level 3 Diploma is fully accredited by City & Guilds, a global leader in skills development.
Your journey begins with a solid introduction to website development and key programming concepts. Through this level, you will explore essential programming paradigms like object-oriented, event-driven, and procedural programming.
By the end of the course, you’ll have developed your first simple interface using a scripting language, giving you the confidence to move forward.
Once you’ve grasped the basics, it’s time to dive deeper. Our Level 2 Certificate focuses on text-based programming using industry-standard languages. You’ll work on real-world projects, where you will design, produce, test, and refine a program from start to finish. You will also have the chance to meet with industry professionals, gaining valuable insight into the tech world and how digital skills are applied in various careers.
This level concludes with the development of a personalised digital skills plan, helping you align your learning with your career goals.
In this stage, you’ll gain essential skills beyond just coding. You’ll explore areas like customer support and software testing, and get to grips with GitHub—an essential tool in modern software development. You will also create event-driven and procedural programmes independently, building the foundation for more complex projects in full-stack development.
Now it’s time to take everything you’ve learned and become a true full-stack developer. At this advanced level, you will dive into both front-end and back-end development. You’ll refine your skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React.js, and you’ll master building dynamic web applications using APIs. You’ll also recap Python, explore Python classes, and learn the basics of SQL databases and application frameworks.
The Level 3 Diploma is accredited by City & Guilds, ensuring that you graduate with a respected and valuable qualification. This level prepares you to create scalable, robust web-hosted applications, setting you up for success in the fast-paced tech world.
At ELATT, we ensure that our students get hands-on experience not just in coding, but also in deploying their projects in a real-world environment. As part of the Full Stack pathway, you will gain practical experience in Frontend, Backend, and DevOps—which includes server setup and configuration. To support this, we provide a dedicated server where students can host their projects for free.
This unique opportunity allows you to deploy your code to a production environment, simulating real-world scenarios that are essential for web development careers. Furthermore, your work may be hosted even after completing the Level 3 Diploma, allowing you to showcase your projects as part of your CV.
Having a live portfolio is a major advantage when entering the tech industry. Employers will be able to see your skills in action, making it easier to stand out, especially when starting your career. This practical experience with real-world deployments sets ELATT students apart, equipping them with both the technical skills and portfolio needed to succeed in the competitive tech job market.
At ELATT, we don’t just teach theory; we provide hands-on experience through workshops, real-world projects, and work placements. Thanks to our strong partnerships with industry leaders such as Mimecast, UBS, and more, our students gain first-hand exposure to the tech sector. These connections help you develop the skills and experience you need to meet industry standards and thrive in a professional environment.
Upon completion of the pathway, you’ll be equipped to pursue careers as a full-stack developer, front-end or back-end developer, or even a software tester. With the demand for web developers at an all-time high, the opportunities are endless.
