From Classroom to Career: Navigating the Transition with ELATT’s Career Support Services

Navigating the transition from education to employment can be challenging for many students. Whether it’s finding the right career path, crafting a standout CV, or preparing for job interviews, having the right support is crucial. At ELATT, we offer comprehensive career support services designed to help students develop the skills they need to secure fulfilling employment. Our tailored services, from career advice to job placement, ensure that every student is ready to meet the demands of the job market.

ELATT’s Career Support Services Overview

ELATT provides a wide range of employability support services that cater to the individual needs of each student. Here’s how we help students transition smoothly from the classroom to their careers:

  • Addressing Individual Needs: We understand that each student’s journey is unique. Our personalised approach ensures students receive support that meets their specific needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their career goals.

  • Employability Support: During your course, we will support you with CV writing, job search, and interview preparation. By offering personalised support, we ensure each student feels confident and ready to stand out in a competitive job market.

  • Industry Partnerships: We collaborate with a variety of industry partners to create opportunities for internships, placements, and real-world experience. These partnerships bridge the gap between education and employment, giving students practical insights into their chosen fields.

  • Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG): We offer personal guidance tailored to each student’s career ambitions, providing detailed information and advice on career options and progression through our careers partner, Prospects. Prospects provide us with a Level 7 qualified Career Development Institute (CDI) adviser to run one-to-one Careers Discussions.

  • Encounters with Further and Higher Education: For students considering further education, we provide advice on higher education opportunities, helping them make informed decisions about their academic and career progression.

ELATT focuses on developing career readiness skills, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. We also offer workshops and one-on-one support to build students’ confidence in navigating the job market, ensuring they are fully prepared for their future careers.
