ELATT is an award-winning training provider in Haggerston, Hackney, offering a Sixth Form for young people who learn best through practical, skills-first teaching. We deliver small, calm, trauma-aware classes led by experienced tutors and support staff.
Our Sixth Form is for young people aged 16–18 (or 19–24 with an active EHCP)—including students who haven’t thrived in mainstream school, have had a break in education, or are transferring from specialist settings. Learners build real-world skills in digital, business and creative subjects along with English and Maths, and progress to apprenticeships, higher study or paid roles, supported by our Careers & Employability team and strong employer links.
An initial conversation and assessment so we understand your strengths, needs and goals, then place you on the most appropriate programme level.
Small groups, close tutor attention and learning support staff where needed; support is embedded and non-stigmatising in calm, trauma-aware classes
We can adjust attendance and pacing during periods of anxiety or ill-health, with a plan to rebuild to full engagement.
Join during the year to reduce time out of education.
Access to specialists where required — an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) / key worker, Employability Adviser, Speech and Language Therapy, and Educational Psychology.
Autism spectrum, ADHD, dyslexia and mental-health-related barriers.
We also support learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
We are not a specialist provider for profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) or for significant learning disabilities requiring specialist provision.

ELATT is an award-winning training provider made up of a dynamic group of people. We are here to help our students realise their potential in all aspects of learning, life, work and wellbeing.
We are experienced in working with young people. Each year we enrol around 90 learners aged 16–19 (or 19+ with an EHCP), with priority places for learners with SEND, looked-after children, unaccompanied minors, and refugees and asylum seekers.
Our students achieve their qualifications at rates that better the national averages, and our students successfully progress into further and higher education and training.
With accredited, high-quality training, our students achieve at above-national rates and progress to apprenticeships, further or higher education, or their first job.
Students develop practical digital, business, and creative skills through hands-on projects and guided learning.
Our inclusive learning environment ensures every learner is seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive.
Study in a structure that suits your needs, with enrichment activities, career planning, and pathways to higher education or employment.
Our tutors bring real-world experience and compassion into the classroom, supporting learners both academically and personally.
We connect students with meaningful work placements and employer projects to build future-proof skills and confidence.
We offer 1:1 mentoring, wellbeing support, and a personalised learning experience to help each student succeed, including tailored support for learners with additional needs (SEND) in a trauma-informed, inclusive environment.
